Back in the day, many moons ago when that episode first aired, one of my acting coaches recorded it and played it for the class. We were learning Stanislavsky's method:) To this day, whenever I get those little lines between my eyes and a pensive look, my daughter asks if I'm trying to add large numbers together, or if I'm smelling a fart!

That's NOT sadness .... that's a deliberately contorted expression, for "show." There's happiness in those eyes ... gloating, wallowing happiness. The 'bliss' of a pathological narcissist wallowing in being the center of attention is obvious. It's akin to the expression of an addict getting a 'fix.'
