Why isn't John Howard staying at a Hotel
Edited on Wed Jan-07-09 09:03 PM by malaise
and PE Obama at Blair House. He is not even the Prime Minister of Australia. Indeed he's not even leader of the Opposition.

This is an absolute disgrace as Bush gets ready to share out medals to all the war criminals who backed his invasion and occupation.

Fuck Bush, Blair, Howard - send them to the Hague.

add.

6. He couldn't stay there because he is neither PM
nor Leader of the Opposition. Rudd would never allow that.

18. I know they're not, but he's an Aussie. He would be allowed.
Tony Blair was, in our country. I don'r think the current PM would be such a dick, but Howard is.

4. Bush is a prick
A weasel, a fuck, a prick. The rest of it, you know them all. He's a small-minded poor loser who knows, in the deepest reaches of his black, soiled soul that he is universally loathed and despised, and he knows that the world loves Obama. It's his cheap way of getting in what he considers a "shot" at our man, and that's the kind of shit that has always defined the cheating, lying, murderous little fuck.

Trust me - the Hay Adams is A LOT nicer than Blair House. Really. And the tab's being picked up by private donors, so the Obamas are all right.

But the fuck of this is that the Clintons moved into Blair House in DECEMBER before the first inauguration, and, if I recall correctly, the Reagans moved in right after the New Year before his first inauguration.

Weasel fuck, that's Chimpy Fucknuts.

God, as the days count down, I find myself hating him more and more, something I did not think possible.

This is my screensaver, by the way. It helps: http://www.backwardsbush.com/code.php

I have vented. I do not feel better.

7. There are one hundred and nineteen rooms in Blair House's 70,000 square feet.
I'd bet damned near anything they can find private accommodations for both a family of four an a war criminal traveling alone.

17. Blair House only claims 14 guest bedrooms. It has 8 staff bedrooms & 35 baths.
It has 4 dining rooms.

10. I know. And he's there for what? One night? Maybe two?
Wouldn't it have been easier to put him up at the hotel - both from a propriety and logistics POV, and from a security one?

11. This was rude to the extreme.
However, remember how Gore was treated when Bush/Cheney supposedly won? Surely, there is some way to insult back. The Obamas showed a lot of class in this incident, though.

16. Clinton moved to Blair House on 1/18/93;Bush moved in on 1/17/2001.
I believe Bush to be guilty of many things----but not being able to accomodate the Obamas before the 15th is not one of them.

21. Your love for the monkey
is duly noted. The facts are that it was empty except for this one day, and there is some question about when this booking was made (before or after the request?) and there is no doubt this has-been non-entity could have been bumped to the same lowly accommodations as Tony Blair found. Love the monkey as much as you do, admit that the monkey chose denying the Obamas access to Blair House was a choice that the monkey made.

23. Your facts are wrong. Get a grip. Focusing on this silliness is a deliberate distraction.
When the Washington Post or media focus on gossippy "dissing" stuff like this it means they think it will get them viewers and advertisers; or it means that someone who is making an issue out of wants to distract ciltizens from important news.

If you want accountability from Bush and Cheney, you have to demand it from our party-they are the party in power....

and if you want to do something about the economic tsunami you could start by reading up on Summers and Rubin, enablers of Wall Street and big banking, with a history of forcefully backing the non-regulation of derivitives.....and then demand they get tossed out of the White House. Rubin incidentally had a role in Enron.

Wall Street and big banking were in charge for eight years, Bush and our Democratic congress have just handed them massive amounts of money and told us we are holding the debt bag,

Summers and Rubin have now been put in charge of our economy.

....and you want to shout about how Obama couldn't get into Blair House early and had to stay in the nearby Hay-Adams luxury hotel?

Incidentally the guy you are calling the monkey out maneuvered you, me, the Democratic party, and America for eight years. He is riding off into the sunset with a big fat pension-after being paid almost a half million a year for 8 years-, free security, and probably the opportunity to sell himself for multi millions.
The presidency is a sure path to becoming super rich. (It will be the same for Obama).

Underestimating the opposition and the power of the presidency, and the power of the super rich and their influence on presidents is how we got in the current mess.

You may have the luxury of focusing on a possible slight to a president -elect. I and my family don't have such luxury.

19. You'd think that Blair House is big enough to accomodate both Howard and the Obamas.
It looks small from the street, but it's actually bigger than the White House. And more secure - the Secret Service and Howard's security staff will have plenty of room and resources to work with.

find somebody to invite to actually use the Blair House. These crooks aren't used to being checked up on. They are using John Howard to cover their asses.
