Okay....I can see where Obama is a Clever Fox throwing Dean Under the Bus and the Activists of 2004
and the Activists of 2000, which included Dennis Kucinich supporters who joined with the Deaniacs to BUILD THE DEM PARTY from the BOTTOM UP.

When I got active after that horrible 2000 Stolen Election and the 2002 Mid-Terms where we lost more Dems ...I thought I could make a huge difference in my Party which I had always voted for and supported from the time I could cast a vote.

My involvement was when Salon Magazine, (who defended Clinton against the RW Media) came online and then other sites like "Bart Cop, Buzzflash and Media Whores Online" were the leaders in capturing those of us so horrified that in America an Election could be Stolen came to attention that something VERY EVIL was AFOOT and it wasn't just about Clinton it was about the Whole Dem Party and the Ideals we thought we and our party were about.

Then came the 2004 Election where Dean and Kucinich had huge amounts of followers looking for revenge for the 2000 Selection and to Rebuild our Party in any way we could after suffering what we saw as an election stolen by the second Bush...after they put the "puppet Reagan" in. We researched we posted we invaded our Dem Party and wanted to know why and we found in most states our Dem Party didn't even have enough computers of Staff to have a current list of their Democratic Voters while the Republican Party for years knew EVERY VOTER...Contributor and down to the last inch of who they could rely on through their Think Tanks and Chambers of Congress, Prayer Groups for Better Business and the Richard Vigurie/Grover Norquist Mail List of consistent RW Funders.

When I got involved in 2004 I was more a Kucinich supporter than Howard Dean but as it went on ...I donated to both and went to political rallies for both in my state of North Carolina. I met so many concerned individuals angry about "Stolen Election 2000 and then the Invasion of Iraq" that we all bonded and were working for Election Reform and for money to revamp the creaky Dem Party with it's lack of computer resources, mailing lists and any kind of organization to move the party forward or at basic level to contact their Dem Voters to get them involved.

To make a long story short, Howard Dean as Chair of DNC GAVE US THE MONEY to upgrade our computers, add more computers and hire some staff to organize the Dem Voters into Dem Donors in EVERY STATE! Something that had NEVER BEEN DONE while the Repugs were using us as "ass wipes!"

Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich energized the Dem BASE ....long forgotten. And, we got out there and worked our butts off for Obama when he became the nominee (I know some of us worked butts off for Hillary, too) and we were told that Uniting would give us a VOICE because for the first time since FDR...we would have a WINNER that could appeal to ALL VOTERS.

Obama is clever. By throwing Dean "Under the Bus" he will get the Republicans to vote for his bills and America will unite. An America Divided doesn't work, anymore and Obama's mission is to UNITE US..in a way that CHIMP, BUSH II could never do.

I guess he's the sharpest Dem that's come along in decades. I just wish he had the manners and courtesy to praise Howard Dean for what he did to get us slackers in the Dem Party to get involved again and work our butts off with money and time and effort to GET HIM ELECTED. I just think to allow the McCorporate Media to "laugh, guffaw and smirk" about how Howard Dean wasn't invited when Obama named the new DNC Chair sort of shows that Obama is so smart he figures he will "move on" and by throwing the Activists Under the Bus he will manage to get an Agenda through Congress and that the American People will love him because he managed to bring all sides together and the HEALING will go beyond the partisan bickering...

So, in the end, we Dem Activists will be very pleased with the outcome...We will understand why he had to do what he did to win. The "Ends Justify the Means" is a great old adage. I believe that Obama believes that to be true.

Peace..

koko

5. Does Dean himself want to continue working in some official position?
Has he expressed disappointment for being overlooked?

Help me out, please. I'm not current on these latest squabbles.

12. you did good too.
very polite.

I don't think Obama is a genius. I also don't think he's a counter-revolutionary. I think he's just a pro-corporate right winger.

11. Cute how you team Kucinich up with Dean, for the sole purpose of giving the credit to Kucinich....
Very nicely done.

13. Huh? Do you have reading skills? Dean and Kucinich activists were what turned around NC...
I worked with them. They joined together...and NC turned BLUE!

14. Although I took 2000 very personal (TN and all), I wasn't looking
for revenge as I'm not now...I want justice for the wrongdoing, period.

I'm furious that Howard Dean isn't being given much credit for what he did to re-energize the party, and I've never been one who holds that old adage that the 'ends justify the means', as it usually leads to the same ole shit just repackaged.
