My daughter calls herself "Mommy," as in mom of the four kitties, the mouse (in another room), and our newest addition, Rhino, the bearded dragon lizard (kept in her room). I'm "Nana," and her dad (my hubby-bubby) is "Papa."

Anyway, Papa's tummy is also a good place for a kitty to sleep.

(P.S. I hope that this not how it's going to go when she has kids - she talks lovingly to them for about five minutes, and then it's .... "Mom ...." Beloved Daughter will be like the Queen of England, trust me. I will allowed to bring her kids for a fifteen-minute audience with her, and then they will return to Nana and Papa!)

The houses were built so much better in the last couple of decades. Now, it just feels a bit like being on a rollercoaster for a few seconds. The house is flexible, and just goes with it for a few seconds. Nothing even scatters around that magnitude. I'm only about 45 minutes away from the epicenter.

How're the boys doing?

The boys are fine, just getting taller or acquiring more facial hair depending on age. The youngest, who has been wider through his chest and shoulders than I since he was 8 and taller than his Dad now, is going through another growth spurt, :hide: It's great having Charlie here, and the middle son bent his knees to hug me in the kitchen a few minutes ago.

I still have to referee their verbal bantering at times, and they don't mess with me too much, lol! :hug:
