FReepers are furious about press treatment of Palin! Decide teen pregnancy is terrific!
Edited on Sun Jan-11-09 12:23 PM by galaxy21
"Katie Couric was prepped in advance by the Obama campaign, so she was told exactly what to ask to get under Sarah’s skin. As far as Tina Fey goes, to me, Tina’s an idiot, she is jealous of Sarah’s success, she couldn’t last a day doing what Sarah does for Alaska, Tina does not look nor sound like her. They are all jealous hacks"

"Sarah Palin is the type of person that if I was in Nam would be covering my six, or be my leader." (Palin = Rambo)

"She doesn't need to reach out to more diverse groups. She is is diverse. Her husband is part Eskimo."

"Palin has as much - if not more - experience than Jindal, Romney, Huckabee, Sanford, etc" (Hey, I don't like those guys but that's a pretty crazy thing to say)

"Theere are no Palin critics on the right. Every single Republican I have talked to is rooting for her to run in 2012. The people who go on these message boards and spew the hate are paid by the Obama campaign 8-10 bucks an hour to continue their barrage of hate towards Sarah"

"Sarah’s amazing rize and accomplishments are stunning. The 30 or so bottom feeder lawyers looking for dirt on her in Alaska could find nothing. I consider the media and the left looking simply foolish trying to diminish our beauteous Sarah."

"I feel about Sarah like I feel about my wife. I simply love her for all reasons."

"It’s amazing how much they fear Palin . . . and they should . . . they haven’t heard the last of Sarah . . . they’re trying to do their best to totally dismiss her from 2012 or whenever she gets going . . . just incredible . . . if our Kenyan-born illegal alien president-elect was asked any of those questions, he would have caved like the cheap suit he wore.

They just won’t stop!"

Talk soon turned to Bristol Palin, apparantly freepers have decided teen pregnancy isn't so bad after all!

"I think what Bristol and Levi are doing is great. I miss the old days of shotgun weddings" (yeah, the good old days when you could force teenagers into loveless marriages)

"Levi's commitment to Bristol and their child is obvious. He got a tattoo."

"When the heck are they going to get married? Why didn’t they marry before the birth so that the baby could be legitimate? Is she waiting so that she can have a big fancy wedding with a fancy dress? It seems to me that they fact that they haven’t already gotten married is a clear message that they have no respect for traditional, conservative social values."
(in response)
"They are going to marry in summer. If you are going to have a wedding, you want it (and the bride) to be as beautiful as possible, don't you?" (so republican family values don't matter as long as the bride looks nice?)

"I’d rather be a teenage mother than a 40 year old with a new born. Just because your young doesn’t mean bad!"

"there’s much to be said for having your babies when you are young and healthy"

"It's no one's business how Sarah, or anyone else raises their kids."

"Getting pregnant prior to marriage is not such a bad thing at all. Valuing life must begin at the beginning, and it seems that Palin understands that."

"It would be great if all would not have sex until marriage. It doesn’t happen that way for some. If I had to choose between how we accept out of wedlock pregnancy and birth today and 60 years ago, I’d choose today."

"Maybe Sarah can develop into a formidable candidate. But the “so what” attitude of some. toward this pregnancy, and the cavalier decision to allow the child to be illegitimate, are stunning on a forum like FR. It is the height of hypocrisy."

"I think Bristol is an embarrassment to the family. I am not judging her."

"Is Jindal a ‘natural born’ citizen as required by the Constitution?"

"Jindal can't be president! Neither of his parents were citizens at the time of his birth!!!" (what is it with Freepers and their natural citizenship obsession?)

1. They are very, very weird people. Their obsession with dimwit Palin is extraordinary.
And as you rightly point out, their obsession with Obama's citizenship is also notable. And ridiculous. Remember, these are people who get their science from Rush Limbaugh and their theology from Ann Coulter.

4. Reminds me of ladies sitting at home in curlers ,watching a soap opera
and talking about it on the phone.

"Ya know, John likes Susie's hair up, not down, I just know it. And Barbara is just so proud of that little one. I know nothing will come between them...."

They act as if they KNOW them! Bizarre.

Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, LA. He is a natural born citizen. His parents citizenship status has nothing to do with his eligibility for the presidency. Why is this so fucking hard for those dolts to comprehend? Are they really that dense???

18. The reality is, freeper types don't want Jindal to be their candidate.
He's a brown skinned ferriner with a funny, Muslim sounding name.

Despite all the talk and hype about him, those facts will prevent him from ever being a viable candidate while the GOP is the party of white middle aged Christian Southerners.

I wish I could find it but there as a poll of GOPers right after the election regarding Jindal and Palin that showed just how much of a handicap GOP racism is for him.

While the GOP is the party of the Saltsman types, he'll never have a chance. It'll be at LEAST 12-16 years for him, IMO, although he' young enough to wait it out quite a while.

If the GOP doesn't take any steps to change their ideas or demographic appeal, he'll NEVER be a viable candidate. The current GOP voter will probably drop at least 5 percent of their turnout if he were nominated, and if the Dem candidate was white, at least some of that would go their way. This would result in an easy win for the Dems.

29. Your six is your back
In the military we use clock terms to signify direction--12 is ahead of you, 3 to your right, 6 behind you, 9 to your left.

Sarah would be about halfway back in any patrol I ran--she could deliver fire (as a hunter, she could probably deliver it better than most soldiers) but I wouldn't trust her at point or trail.

Don't know if this has ever happened to you, but as soon as I learn a new fact or the meaning of a word or whatever, during the next week I see/hear it all over the place....wonder if it will happen with my new knowledge of what "six" can mean?

38. You probably will
When your kid comes in after a baseball game with a dirty seat from sliding into third..."go upstairs and check your six, you look like you fell in a mud puddle."

If a co-worker decides to give you all sorts of hell over something he didn't want to do but dumped on you instead..."get off my six, dammit!"

And, of course, we can't forget the "T&6" announcers Faux "News" uses to get people to watch their crap.

44. That's Air Force too.
My dad was in the Army Air Corps in WWII (before it was a separate branch). That's pilot talk.

So if we're in the traffic, I'll say "Tailgating rectum at 6 o'clock!".
Or "Traveling Barricade at 2 o'clock.". (Traveling Barricade is a slow-moving driver, especially two of them abreast preventing anyone from passing.)

"Slicing weasel at 8 o'clock...9 o'clock...12 o'clock...1 o'clock" if he sliced in front of me from the left to the right.

Miltary jargon is very useful. Also on trips, saying "Our E.T.A. is 4:30" (estimated time of arrival).

19. as though Obama or anybody has to pay anyone to say the obvious about her:
she's ridiculous, a national embarrassment, a really dumb clown, a narcissist filled with delusions of grandeur, a know-nothing, and a corrupt, abusive, hypocritical gasbag politician with absolutely no fiber of intelligence or creativity. What are her ideas on a lasting peace in the Middle East, for example? Does she even have any? The contrast between her idiotic no-brainer comments and Obama's thoughtful and intelligent comments is like night and day.

I wish she could succeed in her treasonous plot to have Alaska secede, and could take her idiotic followers with her. Wouldn't they be ecstatic in their own little Dumbfuckistan!

Um, small problem. He has publically said that the only reason he got the tattoo is because he lost the promise ring that she had given him...on a hunting trip, he lost it while hunting.
He then told her that he would LOSE any other ring that she would give him.
Nothing says love like "don't give me another ring, I'm just gonna lose it, anyway".
