How is it that there is such a small window of attention?
Edited on Sun Jan-11-09 07:17 PM by blues90
Once these primaries ramped up suddenly this is where almost all the focus has been placed.

There is nothing out there about Iraq as if this is all fixed and what about the carriers sitting in the gulf did they just come home?

Now it's all about bail outs and taxes and the economy which is fine but what becomes of everything else?

This is part of the reason we are where we are right now because nothing has an end rather each issue is steered by the media and one issue flows into the next and all else is forgotten when not long ago it was top new stories.

I know, it's all about the top new stories and we are expected and told to move on and it seems we will continue to make the same mistakes as before and everything is a patch floating out in the ether.

Here today , gone tomarrow, what does really matter these days.

I can almost see all the stop the war and impeachment signs piled up somewhere all forgotten and the three vets sitting before the hearings with Waxman who now I can't recall their names telling about their horrid experience at Walter Reed and it's gone into the ether , out of sight, out of mind and gone.

1. "Now it's all about... the economy..." - fail.
Not knowing how to spell some of the more common words in the English language - epic fail.

3. I agree
And think the first respondent was unnecessarily snarky, when we can all make typos.

4. A typo is typically a misspelling. Botching third grade grammar deserves a snark or two.
