How will you celebrate Inauguration Day?
Me and my wife have booked a lodge up in the Cascades with a fireplace and a hot tub, and I plan to be drinking champagne until the wee hours. Any network that shows GWB's ugly smirking mug will be instantly tuned out.

I can't wait. It will be like a second Christmas, except better in that I've waited eight years for it.

2. Do you realize you have one more post to 1000? Enjoy the inauguration.
I think I'm going to cry a lot. What a relief it will be.

6. Hahaha! I think you've won the prize.
My plan is to go to the Owl and Thistle with my sister to celebrate. Oh, and I'm definitely taking the entire day off from work.

10. Oh god, yes!
After 8 long years. We not only have a Democrat back in office, but one who is so goddamned lovable and SMART.

14. Anyone who can't afford a day off should get one anyway - paid.
That's the *least* our representative government owes us after supporting the US Imperium with our labor.

18. We're inviting people over for a Hawaiian-themed party
It won't be much, but I'm finally cracking open the bottle of Veuve Cliquot we bought four years ago to celebrate something else. ;-)

One thing's for sure, we all deserve a little celebration for living through the last eight years, don't we?
