There are two things I want to see done on Guantanamo; it looks like Obama is likely to do both.

1) I want it shut down as soon as feasibly possible - I can see this taking months, but I would be worried if it dragged on into years. Obviously, this isn't going to happen overnight.

2) I want its shutting down on that reasonable timescale made inevitable as soon as feasibly possible - the orders given, the wheels turning, and backing out and keeping it open long term made impossible. This I *do* want to see happen pretty much overnight.

So far it looks as though both those are likely to happen.
