Pastors Fight License For Local Night Club
By Myles Adderley
Pastor Cedric Moss and Pastor Lyall Bethel are waging a fight to have the Magic City Club closed down.

<snip>

Pastor Moss, of Kingdom Life Church, said he feels it was completely unnecessary for his documents to be taken for review because he provided the same documents more than one year ago.

"The chairman made the decision without even looking at what I had presented him. If he had looked, he would have seen that the board was already familiar with what I presented," Pastor Moss said.

Pastor Moss said this was a "plot to stall". He claimed that the content on the website from which the club advertised, "mysteriously disappeared, leaving a blank web page " the day after the hearing.

According to Pastor Moss, some 13 women were arrested in the Magic City Club on November 12, 2006.

However, Assistant Superintendent of Police Walter Evans said he would have to do some research to confirm this. Mr. Evans also could not confirm whether Magic City is a strip club.
