2. When did it become acceptable

for people to sign our flag? I've seen photos of soldiers doing it. Why don't they know better? Have they no knowledge of the protocols surrounding our flag?

Where is the respect? Certainly not with Chimpy and Pickles - their ignorance doesn't surprise me. They were, and always will be, know-nothings of the highest order.

But why aren't our servicemen and women taught about the flag? I learned about it in junior high school.

It's sad.
