Possibly the worst line in the entire election campaign
McGramps: "Barack Obama has been saying some terrible things about Western Pennsylvania and I couldn't agree with him more". Poor Gramps - trying to correct it made it worse.

And Pennsylvania goes to Barack Obama - I will never forget that rally.

2. True but even when they repeat this one I scream with
laughter. It was fall down funny and the way he made it worse made it even funnier.

4. That ticking time-bomb of gaffes Sarah Palin had some good ones...
they'll live on for a very long time.

Real Virginia vs. Fake Virginia, Putin "rearing his head" over Alaska, Obama "palling around with terrorists"...that woman was a goldmine for comedians.

5. I think that is a close second to "my fellow prisoners" because that meant all of us!
He was a mess from his win in NH through the rest of the campaign that he lost to "that one".

7. That was proof of his incompetence
and while I did crack up, it was scary. The Pennsylvania line was 'Bushlike' so it was twice as funny.

9. Camp Gamps WIll Be Studied For Years To Come...
Just as Dr. Dean's 50-state plan and President Obama's organization and campaigning skill will be looked at as having a big impact on Obama's win, a book or ten can surely be written about how inept McCain's campaign was. I had never seen as poorly run campaign...from people who were supposed to be "pros"...eventually turning the campaign into a caricature of a real one. There were gaffes almost daily and in the end Camp Gramps was fighting with itself and the corporate media than it was with Preident Obama.
