I have to wonder what Bush is thinking right now.
"Gee, they never did that for me." as he looks at the crowds in the Mall. Or is it "Do they really hate me that much?"

I hope he feels like shit and is scared to death over the idea of being held accountable.

1. Of course, you do realize that using the words
"Bush" and "thinking" in the same sentence is just plain wrong, don't you! ;)

21. Your first snag may be the assumption that he's actually thinking...
He seems to be something of a starfish - brainless, reflexive, not really prone to reflection or introspection... All of this may be a defense mechanism (if he's smart enough to recognize it) because being reflective and thoughtful would mean that he'd have to acknowledge reality - and the reality of his failures and destruction...

just a guess...

2. I hope people BOO and HISS at him for the rest of his life.
In restaurants. While shopping. On the street. Wherever he goes, I hope the public lets him know how they feel about him. Chants of "WORST EVER" would be good as well.

14. I would feel compelled to throw horse shoes for Clydesdales
at him or any member of his family.. not that I would see them in the woods round our farm, or Yanceyville or Danville or anywhere else nearby, if he trespassed I would call the sheriff, and feel threatened enough to sic my dogs or our neighbors guineas on him.

5. If he's thinking at all, it's probably just about whether or not
his private chef will cut the crust off his PBJ sam-itches as well as that guy who cooked for him in the Whitehouse. To expect any deeper thought from him would be asking an awful lot.

He's watching CNN with his hand down his pants, wishing he could have a drink. That's about all that's ever been on his lizard mind.

Have you seen The Simpson's Movie where Marge is talking to Homer who is not listening but instead has a monkey banging symbols going through his 'brain'...

15. He must be so proud, watching the crowds and the shoe throwers,
and he's apparently sharing in the emotion of the day with his entire family holed up in the wh for the last night.
