in Michelle's presence over their coffee. Did you notice the red ribbon was only on the lid....easy to open...no muss, no fuss but OH NO, she hands it off! Am I wrong?

9. No, you're right! I thought exactly the same thing. Michelle probably put quite
a bit of thought into it.

I was watching the Today show and they were all agreeing not ever seeing that done in the past.

Now, I'm hoping it was an etiquette book, but I doubt it!

She held the gift the entire time, even cradling it in her arm. She held it while she shook hands with Obama and he kissed her on the cheek. She did hold it behind her husband's back as they took the group picture and she carried it in with her as they went through the doors. Just how long should she have to carry it? But she never promptly passed it off. Let's at least keep our trashing and bashing semi-honest.
