I can't watch the inauguration!
Shit, my employer has turned off videos on our computers. They list places I can watch at work, but none of the conference rooms are anywhere near me. My coworker took the day off to watch, and I told her that was fine because I'd watch at work.

I could scream! I guess I'll have to listen on the radio.

1. Why would your boss do that? Upset McCain didn't win? Or just being
Jerk?

5. Nope
Just corporate tight-ass-ness. If anything, the company would welcome a Democrat's approach to health care.

7. I'm heartsick
I wanted to see Yo Yo Ma and Itzak Perlman in that quartet. I needed to see the speech as it happened. At least, I remembered to tape it and have a radio.

8. Take a coffee break. Go to a local diner or pub if one is close by.
I hope you make it in time to see it live.
