Why doesn't our President want to fund the troops in Iraq?

The emergency $124 billion supplemental war spending bill is needed for our troops and he plans using a veto on it?

What kind of patriotism is that I ask?

I'm sure he would want to put a "neener neener neener" on that.

Bush has used that tactic himself so often against the Democrats it's become his, and the Dems using it just ain't gonna work...

Bush wants his way about having no time line...so it will become a stand off of who blinks first...(The Dems always have in the past)...And then it will be reduced to who has the more lying, dastardly, gigantic spinning propaganda media machine to sell their side to Americans...Unfortunately, it's the republicans hands down, and they have used their manufactured lies and distortions very effectively against the Democrats.

What the Dems do have going them if they would just recognize it, is Bush is around 28% approval and more people everyday become sick of this senseless insane war for profit and Bush and the corporations are dying to get their hands on the 124 billion dollars of our tax money....the Dem's indeed have the cards and a great hand...if they don't fold and give in to Bush's bluff...Dems haven't been very good poker players against Bush/Rove.

Will the Dems hang in there together and not blink this time...besides Social Security a few years ago where they stood united...This would be a surprise. We can only hope!
