1. I lost count at 1,350,000
Quite a crowd, that's for sure. Unreal!

3. It was tough but I'm a fast counter.
Big crowd, lots of people celebrating at long last our national nightmare is over, now comes a lot of hard work and sacrifice. End of FEAR(tm). Time to grow up and be adults.

2. Who is putting out that number?
Not challenging, but I am sure the official estimators of such things said, after the Million Man march, they'd release such numbers again.

I am sure some new 'authority' will provide such data, but not sure who?

1.4M seems low to my eyes.

5. No one counts
The Park Service gave that up after the Million Man March.

The biggest crowd, though, up to that point, was LBJ's inauguration, which drew 1.2 million people.

I think today was far more than that, but we'll never know.
