....(Scene: Late May 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder steps up to a forest of microphones in front of the Justice Department as 300 members of the press representing every media outlet worldwide poise in anticipation).

AG Holder: This will be very brief and I will take no questions. Today, indictments for murder, violations of the Geneva Convention on the conduct of torture, and obstruction of justice were returned on the following individuals: Richard B. Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Condolezza Rice, David Addington, Alberto Gonzales, and John Yoo. Further indictments will be unsealed in the coming days against other individuals connected with these crimes. Due to the ongoing investigation, my department will not comment on any proceedings until such time as they reach their conclusion. Arrest warrants have been issued for the named individuals and countries that have extradition treaties with the U.S. have been contacted regarding harboring any fugitive from justice. Thank you.

(The press erupts as Holder briskly turns and heads back to his office).
