Hmmm...like we predicted? Pickles in Dallas, chimp in Crawford?
Yeah, she was only here for a "brief visit" to check on "renovations" but ya can't help but wonder if it is a sign of things to come??

Former first lady Laura Bush paid a brief visit to Dallas to check on renovations at the Preston Hollow home she and the former president will live in

The Bushes have been staying at their Crawford ranch since leaving Washington after the inauguration of President Barack Obama.


In Preston Hollow this afternoon, Secret Service agents and Dallas police SUVs blocked the entrance to Daria Drive, the road that leads to the Bushes’ recently-purchased home on Daria Place.

The house shown in your real estate listings post is not Bush's and Google earth DOES show his house and "ranch." In the Google Earth search line enter "prairie chapel ranch, crawford, texas"

Besides, his place with land would sell for a lot more than $899,900! (Although, I wouldn't give 2 cents for his pig farm.)

Given that she knows where all chimp's skeletons are hidden, she'd be one of the first called as a witness. So they stay "married"...her in Dallas, him off "writing his memoirs" (that no publisher will buy) or working on his library plans.
No one here in Dallas wants him. I've said it before, Dallas County Dem pols/citizens would boo/protest him out of the city and local repukes blame him for all of their election loses over the last 6 years.

They sure as hell aren't driving those miles. Who's flying them?

If he has access to an executive jet courtesy of the Air Force, I'll bet he is going to use the shit out of it. Hell, he practically lived on Air Force One.

20. In the article it discusses the security on the street by the Dallas home.
Several years ago, my ex-in-laws lived in Chappaqua and my sister-in-law drove me to see the Clinton's home. There was one Secret Service van there, right in the driveway of the home.That was it.

From the article

Only people who live on the Bushes' block and their guests were allowed onto the street. A news helicopter flew overhead while Laura Bush and several others walked the length of the back yard. She waved at the news camera before heading back into the house.

Curious onlookers are still causing a stir as they slowly drive the leafy Preston Hollow neighborhood looking for the Bush home.
