We just barely got missed here in Kansas City. But it got really cold and we had a little snow. But mainly its the cold.

Warming up to 30 today and should be better for the next few days. But January is almost over. On to February which isn't usually so cold and awful - just really gray and dreary.

1. Freezing rain.
It is not pleasant outside. Inside, however, it is warm and comfortable.

3. Why yes, thank you for asking, the ice is indeed gone.
:P

Actually, by local standards, it is as cold as a welldigger's 'okole here as well: we won't even hit 80 today! :scared:

6. I'm a couple of hours south of you near Peekskill and the snow turned this AM into
cold drizzling rain. A large rainstorm will be making it's way here later on.

5. It's warmed up to 14 degrees here in Wisconsin
We haven't had snow in a few days, but it's been too cold for any melting to occur. Still about 2' on the ground and large snow piles from the plowing. We've had a pretty brutal winter so far.

7. Our winter has been pretty good so far. Not much snow.
Last winter was terrible. Every three days we got rain, snow or ice. And that pattern kept up for weeks. Never a lot at one time - just enough to make the roads a mess.

10. Started snowing in November, it won't melt for a couple, few months.
It's over 100 inches now. Snow is way better than ICE. No thank you to that!

12. In southwestern NM it's 52, sunny, no wind, 15% humidity.
I think we're in a La Nina, which seems to mean warm and dry for the Southwest, cold and wet for the North.

13. Ice and more ice
Our driveway would make a decent skating rink if it weren't on a slope. I can't even walk to the mailbox. This is just outside Rockville, Maryland.
