GAINESVILLE, Fla. - University of Florida President Bernie Machen said Friday he was “tremendously disappointed” with the school’s Faculty Senate vote to deny former Gov. Jeb Bush an honorary degree.

2. i don't know why anyone is suprised by this
as Governor, Bush lead the gutting of Florida's higher education system. you speak with disdain about people, and then expect them to give you an honor? you might as well wonder why the Human Rights Campaign isn't giving an award to Ann Coulter.

If there's anything that the Bush family is beyond compare at, it's getting awards and rewards that the shitheads have no business getting.
