What happened to all the police chases and sharks that were so damn important before the election?

Seemed like every time our Dem leaders called a news conference they would get about two words out of their mouths and all the cable channels in unison would cut to a very important "Breaking story" like a car chase or stale video of a school of sharks somewhere.

Remember those days?

Now when the Rethugs have something to say and call a news conference the cable shows never miss a single word of what those scum have to say.

Anyone else notice that?

3. Well, one recent development that's happened is that TV stations can't afford helicopters

anymore. Three stations in Dallas alone have recently given up their full-time choppers.

And it's a trend all over the US. As TV audience share declines, so do revenues and the expensive toys are going with along with staff reductions.

5. I think it's inside intentional and I'm glad, at least until after the stimulus

bill passes. Let the pubs spit, spew, fumble, cry and contradict each other... all over the place 24/7. Let them make fools of themselves. I hope the Democrats were encouraged to just sit back and shut up until the whole thing is over... thus giving the media little or nothing to bitch about.

I mean all the cable companies cutting in unison to a school of sharks? I don't watch a lot of cable news, preferring to get my news from the internet; but yeah, that'd be an interesting study.
