During the campaign and to Jan 20, my inbox was flooded with
stuff from fundie relatives, republicans, and other assorted whackos. Many had multiple addresses in the Cc line, and most had multiple generations of fwd. I not only responded to them with rebuttals, but saved the addresses in a special category.

Now my fun begins: I am sending them all, daily, one of the Obama agenda items - the whole thing -from the whitehouse.gov site. As a heading to each one, so the recipients will know how I got their address, I paste this: "Look at something you forwarded recently. Are there several generations of addresses visible? When you send something to multiple addressees, are the addresses visible in the To or Cc space? If you wonder how people get your address for spam, and the answer to either of the two questions was 'yes', you now have a clue. Bcc is your friend."

I have rec'd responses, and they have not been rude but instead noncommittal, such as "Got your note, thanks."
