BO better be careful Afghanistan doesn't become HIS Vietnam....
I say get the hell out of Iraq AND Afghanistan ASAP. The one is a complete boondoggle and the other is an unwinnable situation not to mention unaffordable, especially now.

4. It shouldn't be a full scale military op the way it is now....
Too much potential for casualties (i.e. Soviet experience)

Make nice, get out.

But keep in place in secured bases a quick reaction special ops force to surgically strike at any potential "threat" that may pop up....

and burn it because its cheaper to buy somewhere else than ship it to market?
