1. You're so wrong.
Be bipartisan, then do what you (and the people) want.

That's a formula for long-term success. Takes more effort, but worth it.

8. Except for one problem:
The Republican minority appears to think that "bipartisanhip" means giving them everything they want or they throw a monkey wrench into the works. For example ~~ they appear to want a re-run of the failed economic policies of the last 8 years. Should we agree to any of that?

10. No - bipartisanship is not caving. Invite them to the table - if they soil themselves, their problem

13. I disagree
Bipartisanship may have it's place and time, but this ain't one of them.

Why should all of the country be saddled with ideas that have already been proven as failures? The latest stimulus package was an excellent example. The Republicans wanted more tax cuts for businesses. Gee, isn't that what got us into this quagmire in the first place? What is next, write in some more deregulation?

The American people overwhelmingly rejected GOP ideas. I feel no obligation to those on the far left side of the bell curve who haven't figured out that Republicans are perennial fuckups. Now is the time for the Democrats to run with the ball and prove the ideology works, just like they always have.

4. Bipartisanship only works one way.
When Democrats give Republicans everything they want, that's bipartisanship. The sad truth is that that particular ship never turns the other way.
