Is something wrong with Google?

Everything I Google comes up with links that have a line underneath that say

WARNING. VISITING THIS SITE MAY HARM YOUR COMPUTER

Then when I click on the link I get another page that tells me the same thing and I should visit Google Diagnostics. But that link goes to an error page.

It says you can continue to the site you want at your own risk, but there's no way to get there from the page you're looking at.

I did it, but am now thinking, that may have been a bad idea, even though it seemed to take me to the desired site.

Just did some general searches and had no issues.

Typed in a very benign keyword search just to check, and all the links have that warning!

There must be something going on with Google. Maybe they got hacked.

Just used the same benign search in yahoo search.
No warning on any of the link hits there.

I have SiteAdvisor and it still shows the green checkmark (safe), red 'X' (not safe), and question mark (not sure) indicators, though.

Google is hacked; hopefully not to the point something will be distributed...

Kaspersky didn't see anything, but if there's a new virus "in the wild"...

no antivirus program will spot it.

Kaspersky and Trend are the two best antivirus programs out there; they have multiple automatic daily updates. You get what you pay for... (unless it starts with the letter "M"... :D )

I highly recommend it.

luckily the URL can be seen at the bottom of each entry and can be manually entered in the "address box" (or whatever that space is called where the URL appears).

I take that back.... the search worked fine but when I clicked on the link I got the message.

even whitehouse.gov gets that notice. It's some sort of Google error. It'll probably be fixed shortly.
