The last few all seemed to me like stooges, slow-witted frontmen for the guys with the real power.

2. It depends on the RNC Chairman. And that's a FACT.
George H. W. Bush put every big money donor on his PERSONAL Xmas card list when he had the job.

Guess what he had when he left the job?

A great list of potential DONORS....to his OWN campaign.

A smart person can parlay this job into something bigger. Poppy did. Bob Dole did, too.

5. Dean struck me as more of a stakeholder than the last several RNC guys.

6. They are bolstering his position with replacing white preachers with Af-Am Evangelicals
on the radio. Several times in the last week or so, when I check out the radio, I was totally surprised (NOT!) to hear the abrupt shift in preaching and who was doing the preaching. Went from totally white to mostly African American. I really wish the Republicans would be honest and focus their time on the people's needs instead of campaigning and conniving all the time. But that is too much to ever hope for.
