How many jobs were lost in and around your community today?
A facility that builds metal and wooden buildings and grain bins for agricultural storage eliminated 24 jobs today.

My sister currently supports her disabled husband, her lazy ass son, and his five children ranging in age from 6 to 16 on her her factory salary and her husbands S.S. My sister did not finish high school, is 51 going on 70, and ill-suited for any other occupation, even if there were any available. 30+ years of working in the factory have contributed greatly to this. Her factory announced back-to-back "temporary" layoffs of 481 employees in December and January. I believe they will close their doors before the end of this year. They are entirely dependent on the American auto industry.

This is just in the last week, and in a town of only 27,000.

Too much in the way of job loss to count.

2. It would be helpful if there were an index set up, so that when the new jobs start coming in
People could see where they were, feel a little hope......
