13. I felt no terror, just anger.
I never believed that anything the Bush/Cheney administration did helped to keep us safe from attack so working from that premise, anything Cheney says about it is a complete lie. I would rather live with the uncertainty of attack than to have more freedoms curtailed and to push such a stupid foreign policy agenda as we had in the last 8 years. That Cheney is still walking around a free man and that people ever thought he had anything useful to say is aggravating.

23. 9/11 could've been thwarted with the existing system,
Edited on Thu Feb-05-09 02:23 PM by Uncle Joe
if they had just done their jobs, communicated and used a little common sense.

They didn't need to illegally wiretap every American to stop 9/11 or any other attack from happening.

The police laws enacted since are overkill either to full fill a long held dream of a fascist police state by the neocons or from a charitable perspective simply to salve the guilty conscious of those "leaders" that failed in their responsibility whey they were in power.

At this point I'm not sure which holds true, but one thing does hold true, hearing about nuclear or biological threats against the United States from the man; whose office spitefully outed one of our own covert CIA Agents and by extension her company; whose primary job was tracking nuclear proliferation is at it's best, the height of arrogant hypocrisy.

I don't know for certain whether Cheney or the people that pull his strings, in order to push their Big Brother corporate supremacist ideology through would ever wage a false flag attack against the United States, but that's a pretty tragic statement in itself.

I could feel a little bit less threatened by his ilk.

BFEE and all of its rotten branches need to be pruned, the roots dug up and the entire lot burned to ashes.

31. I truly believe that little fucker is behind more than one "terrorist attack" already
"False Flag" operatios have been part of the US military strategy since before there was a US military. Look at the Boston "Tea Party"

I have little to no doubt that shrub and cheney have been directly involved in at least one terrorist attack. Hell yes it is frightening. These assholes would do it in a heartbeat. Domestic right wing radicals are the greatest threat our nation faces. shrub and cheney are their leaders. The anthrax attacks largely targeted democrats and was US military toxin. I wonder who could have been behind that?
