Here is my idea for a jobs bill.

Take all the homeless off the streets. Let's show that we are a compassionate nation that cares about our people. Let us rent motel rooms so each homeless person has a warm place to sleep. Give them a job picking up trash, landscaping, or whatever needs to be done.

Also, open up Internet "cafes" in every city so that every citizen that does not have access to the Internet should have a place to go that was close to his or her neighborhood. This would create a lot of jobs and give people the opportunity to have their voices heard.

Fix the roads and bridges now. Every city in this country has potholes that need to be fixed. Rebuild all the bridges that are wearing out. This will put a lot of people to work.

Give education grants to all those that want to go to college. In return, they will do community service wherever it is needed. Help with the elderly and winterizing homes, etc.

Also, go green. Start putting up the windmills. This will create a lot of good paying construction jobs. There are many ideas for new jobs. We need to put America back to work.

They take the most critical streets, bridges, infrastructure, and tackle it. If you give the cities the money, they will immediately get the jobs going. They just need the money to move ahead.

We still don't have houses rebuilt or repaired from the 2008 flood, as they were doing so much arguing over who/when/where the refuse was going to be dumped, and by the time they got to moving the refuse, winter set in and everything was frozen to the ground. Those projects could put a lot of carpenters, plumbers, electricians, road builders, bridge builders, etc. to work at good paying jobs. AND it wouldn't take years of planning to get the show on the road.

If they don't trust the locals, tell them to be transparent and show what they are doing to the public. The newspapers/radio would love the good news.
