Do you recall the WH address Reagan made in support of his 1981 tax cuts?
Reagan took his argument directly to the people as Obama is now doing for his stimulus package.

The thing I remember most about it was Reagan telling an anecdotal story of how some yahoo in the South called his congressman and said, 'are you for him or agi'n him?' (That's how I remember it, so don't quote me.)

The difference today is that the Republican party is against America but remains 'for' Ronald Reagan.

1. That shitball was all about those folksy fake stories that never happened.
He sort of invented his own little world as he went along.

At his last apperances ever he would say "Someday, you'll tell your grandkids about the time you saw a fella named dutch when he came through town for the last time"

2. Like the flimflam monorail salesman on the Simpsons
Its quite telling that those with conservative values spend a great deal of time lying about reagan and lying about FDR. When they are not whining about how others rewrite history.

5. And with the conservatives now adays
its all those mansions in the ghettos from coast to coast. The government forced mortgage companies to loan to people who could not afford them. Thats the real reason we are in economic trouble. Tune into any right wing jerkoff and he'll splain it to ya.
