Howsoever, I'm thinkin' that us atheist sorts of folks need to put us up a big ol' Zero, round about 150' high or so. If we was to put it right next to that there cross, we could make what we worship just as big and fine as that cross thing.

Put one a them color wheel thingies, like they uset to have for them aluninum Xmas trees, to light it up real bright-like. That'd show them fundamentalcases, I'm sure.

Put it right next to the big Zero. After all, all religions should be able to put up huge tasteless erections and light them all up so everyone can see just how sincere they are. Maybe a giant Spaghetti Monster on that road, too.

Yes, I can see it all now. The Wiccans could put up a great big skyclad woman, 170 feet tall. Now that would be something, for sure.

A huge statue of Kali or Krishna would be nice, too. I can see it now. The Highway of Sanctity, they could call it. Every religion on the planet competing for the eyes of the weary traveler on life's highway.

I could get behind this.

How many could use a bit of repair on their homes? How many can use a bit of shelter,period? The people are hungry,the people are cold yet they figure the bigger it is the BETTER it is? How about putting that to human use in a way faith can help many people????

Do you really think he'd want to see a cross? I asked this of a woman I bowl with when I saw she wore a cross. She was on the edge of being sucked into fundyism. She thought about it for a minute and then said to me... I never thought about it like that.
