DC Journalists Love GOP Obstructionists, But Americans Don't

The American public looked at DC, they saw the Democrats trying to do something, and they liked what they saw.

No better example of this can be found than the "winners" and "losers" that DC media are proclaiming in the wake of the passage of the stimulus bill, and what DailyKos/Research 2000 polling on the subject indicates.

DC opinion: It's good for the Republicans!

Go to the link for a bunch of heartwarming statistics. Congressional Dems are UP, Repugs are DOWN in the polls. . by a bunch. So in spite of grossly biased reportage, The American people are discerning the facts in significant numbers.

HEY MSM. . How d'ya like the taste of that irrelevance?

1. It's those damn atheists and Internets.
If it weren't for the atheists, all of god's good little people would be filling church pews and worshiping, I mean voting for, Republicons.

And it it weren't for those damn internets, no one would listen to Air America and all those liberal liars. Without the Internets there would be no one pointing out the lies of our overlords and masters the uber wealthy Republicons.

:sarcasm: Kind of...

2. It's like Dan Rather said in Denver
The MSM is bought and paid for, and only when someone from the left is SO inspiring
that they pull in advertising in amounts that can't be ignored--then and only then
do they get considered for prime time (Olbermann, Maddow). Otherwise: money (i.e. right
wing mania) talks and we go deaf.

3. They Don't Give A Rats Ass...
Having worked with the egos on "the media" (and no where on the level of these "hotshots"), the Villagers in the Beltway bubble believe the world revolves around them cause they have the mighty pens and microphone that us "riff-raff" don't. They believe they have some special insight into politics and the world and we should be grateful for those "pearls of wisdom" they drop us. If they believe up is down, that's the lead story...and any amount of proof to the contrary is just "whining and harping" from us ingrates.

The public's distrust of the corporate media has been helping President Obama. They've not only estimated his political skills but those of the American people. Many of us have bypassed their filter, but those dinosaurs don't know it. Instead of helping their GOOP benefactors, they're making a majority of the public...the people who buy the soap and give them ratings...very pissed.

Cheers...
