Analog to digital TV: Rapture Ready member sounds the ALARM!!!!!1 MIND-CONTROL!!!11
Hmmm... "silent sound spread spectrum (ssss)" And what creature do we know who says, "ssss"? And yes, it does sound tin hatty... but I believe with all my heart that this is cause for alarm! And I mean ALARM! If this is an innocent conversion for an update on our televisions, why is the government pushing this so hard? The article about encouraging the ministers to pass this info on is the scariest part of all! The Lord says that nobody can take us out of His hand, so if this is something that is a mind-control issue I don't see how it can affect Christians. However, I am seriously considering doing away with my tv! I do not want to be deceived, ya know? Something is up big time with this thing! (am I making any sense at all?)

1. Someone needs to tell him
"No, you're making no sense at all. In fact, we're starting to get very worried about you."

4. This one isn't nearly as funny as the Orange iPhones post...
Although this post demonstrates a solid suspicion and even outright fear of basic technology, I note that there aren't any black women singing or winding their hips.

This one left me disappointed...

7. The Orange iPhones post had me laughing for about a week every time I thought of it...
I pulled it up yesterday for a friend and they couldn't believe their eyes.

It's going to be very hard to ever top that one, but if anyone's up for it it's the RR folks...

8. I love the Internet's reaction to this.
Left-wing anti-corporate kooks scream about how this is obviously a scam by big business to soak the American people. Religious kooks see the machinations of Satan. Right-wing libertarian kooks complain that it's Big Government consolidating its power over the once-free media. Conspiracy kooks think that it's a step towards Big Brother watching you through your television.

I understand the concept of a broadcast spectrum is difficult to understand, and that television holds a place of honor in the American psyche, and that things we do not understand are seen through the lens of that which we believe we do. Still, I am surprised and delighted by the multifaceted ways that the Internet's shallow nutjobs are internalizing this switch as evidence of their pet theories in action.

15. And They Are Completely Missing the Real Story
What happens when all those people who live out in the sticks can't watch TV anymore?
They went out and bought their converter boxes, but the signals are too weak.
They tried a couple of new antennas, still nothing.

16. Many DTV towers are currently broadcasting at low power. When the full switch occurs,

all should have TV yet again. Most, in fact, should enjoy a clearer picture and more channels.

24. Most of the people complaining they can't get digital TV are the same ones who say
TV of any kind is a mind-numbing waste of time.
It's fascinating. :D

11. I'm surprised it hasn't hooked some here. I remember when someone posted a FR post about the guy

worried about the government tracking him through the RIFD in his passport on the way to the supreme court. You know there were some here saying, "of course they can track you with that, they track me every single day."

18. And radio! Don't forget the radio!
More mind-control rays come from radio than anything else. I know some people love their Rush and all, but seriously, radio waves are dangerous and are killing brain cells EVERY SINGLE SECOND! They radiate even into the next room, even when the radio is off! You can't get away from them. The ONLY solution is to get rid of your radio. If you have a car radio, take it out. Better to be safe.

(I'm hoping lots of freepers are reading this because I'm so concerned about them. They're killing their brains and don't even realize it!)

17. RR is great for a good belly laugh. here's another...
"One thing I was pondering was, what about the unbeliever that actually witnesses someone being Raptured? What will they say? Will they tell others what they saw and not believe what the World and the AC says about the Rapture?

So, I'm sitting at my desk at work, and the entire room sees me disappear right before their eyes, and perhaps others disappear. Right in front of them. My clothes fall to a heap on my chair. We all sit in cubicles that don't have high walls, so...we can see each other all the time during our work day.

What about at the grocery store? You are standing there one minute at the cash register, handing over your money, and ....there ya go!!"

>here's a classic reply<

"I just hope that I am at work or in front of my neighbors or my atheist ex, I hope it happens when the non-believers I know will see I am gone."

>I don't think their imaginary sky dude is really down with spite<

"But on the other hand, to be at work and have them say- "She was right!" would be good."

>and being right, isn't that what religion is all about? LOL<

"What about unborn babies in their mothers wombs? Do stomachs suddenly flatten?"

>that one is my personal favorite!<

"I think about the stylist cutting someone's hair... "

>hey!! hey!! my sideburns aren't even!!! I'm living in hell!!<

"Personally I don't think they will see a thing, we will be gone so fast that they won't even see us go. Maybe God will put them in a trance for a sec. or something. I Sure will be glad to go!!"

>me too<

what I find completely amusing is this, for a bunch of people so hell bent on taking the great vanishing act, they certainly have a lot of concern about what happens to the rest of us godless heathens. Doesn't sound to me like they are really all that ready to take the big space elevator to the land of milk and honey, does it?

founded on nothing more than a desire to give a cosmic fuck-you to anyone who has ever disagreed with them.

They're going to need a lot of counseling after promoting and living with the current level of sexual repression, misinformation and hatred. "Dude, there's your Mom!1!!!!1!"

Whatever happened to "...on Earth as it is in Heaven?"
