NY Times: Michael Moore Wants Wall Street Scuttlebutt
Michael Moore Wants Wall Street Scuttlebutt
February 13, 2009, 10:50 am

Workers of Wall Street: You may feel unappreciated, or even reviled, these days, but take heart — there’s a big-name movie director who wants to talk to you.

Michael Moore, the man behind “Bowling for Columbine,” and “Fahrenheit 9/11,” has put out the call for people in the banking, brokerage and insurance industries to tell him the inside story about the recent financial meltdown and what he refers to as “the biggest swindle in American history.”

“Will you help me with my next film?”, he asked in a post that appeared this week on his Web site and in a message to his e-mail list.

Mr. Moore went on to say:

I am in the middle of shooting my next movie and I am looking for a few brave people who work on Wall Street or in the financial industry to come forward and share with me what they know. Based on those who have already contacted me, I believe there are a number of you who know “the real deal” about the abuses that have been happening. You have information that the American people need to hear.

All correspondence will be kept confidential, he wrote, adding that a “few good people have already come forward.” ........(more)

1. He should get in touch with Matt Taibbi who's doing an expose
for the next Rolling Stone.

2. from what i understand...
anything that gets sent to MMoore actually gets looked at and researched. I know someone who was contacted for Sicko and interviewed, but didn't make the cut. Never got to meet Moore, but the researcher was nice and actually got her Ins Co to back off by invoking MMoore's name. Money-grubbing Corps fear him intensely.

I'd send the suggestion to hook up with MTaibbi along MMoore's way... i'd love to see MT in his next movie.

Cheers.
