1. ROFL.
I've been there a few times, and honestly - it wasn't worth it.

9. I agree.
Don't get me wrong, it was a nice steak and good potatoes. But $140 for a meal for two? That was ridiculous, especially for an overly fatty porterhouse. I've had better steak dinners for half the price (Pier 12 in WV and Morton's come to mind).

10. If you want to find an audience willing to pay $140

for steak for two, shouldn't Hannity's audience be the people you're targeting (people who eat meat with more money than sense)?

11. Same thing here, about 30% was just fat, or connected tissue.
I felt like asking for 30% reduction on my bill. Morton's is very good. I wouldn't mind going their again. But for the past several years (since leaving corp. america), I've had a hard time justifying the expensive steak or seafood dinners. Even at home, I rarely cook it. I guess once you leave the overspending world of a corporation - your blinders come off a bit, LOL.

2. Ruths is a great restaurant and they employ great people.
There is no joy in their struggle.

7. Tell that to their workers
Maybe you'll be "fortunate" enough to face the same fate.

12. I sympathize with every teacher, every IT worker, every small business owner that has been impacted
by this economic crisis.

But - I will rejoice every struggle and failure of the businesses that feed rush, hannity, and their ilk. Blame can be directly placed with these cretins for this situation - and they continue to profit from it. rush's latest contract pays him $50M per year. hannity's radio contract alone is worth $20M per year - then there is the TV contract with fox. They claim to be patriots - but that salary comes from working against the success of the economic stimulus.

nope - I will not feel sad for any failure of these sponsors.

5. Not only did they move their HQ from suburban NOLA to Orlando,
they announced it two days after the Federal Flood. :grr: :banghead:

The sound you hear may not be beads whizzing overhead. It could be Ruth Fertel spinning in her grave.

3. A crappy steakhouse and Stanford Coins = Hannity's prime sponsors
One going down the tubes, another going to jail. With any luck, Hannity will circle the drain along with them.

6. doubt it.Like any republican, Hannity can easily turn his back on a friend in trouble
Walking away and letting a person or business sink and then pretending you never knew them is a repug characteristic (Ken who? GWB asked.)

8. One of my very liberal clients entertains for business there.
He won't like this news. He should be going to KC's Steak House instead. Nice people work there as well but he won't have to support that crazy swill.
