I mean really, this guy is a criminal and has brought the country to ruin. He should be in jail or the very least be taken before congress in shackles to testify. I for one have voiced my opinion to THIS WEEK that he should be fired before I can watch the show again.

I've seen him at least a half dozen times in the past week or so, including tonight on "Hardball..." His memorable mug shot was posted here on DU how long ago?! :shrug:

Isn't this guy not in prison?

I thought he was on his way to prison, but instead he's given a national forum... x(

Why is his mug everywhere? Why does anyone CARE about his opinion? And, more importantly, why is he still walking around free and able to GIVE his opinion to anyone?

Does anybody know what is happening with his criminal case? Is he going to trial or not? Was there a plea deal or something?

I thought he was on the fast track to jail, since he was indicted and all... Why don't we hear what Jack Abramoff has to say, too... :eyes:

Please stop giving Karl Rove a soapbox on your show. The man does NOT have credibility, experience or even familiarity with policy or government. He was the POLITICAL director of the Bush administration, during which time he specialized in lying, manipulating, spinning, blackmailing and character assassination. He is officially in contempt of Congress and is suspected of treason (Plame case) and illegally influencing federal investigations (DA's and Siegelman). A gross insult to viewers!

Karl Rove is under investigation by Congress and has repeatedly ignored his Consitutional duty to appear before them in hearings for political misconduct. He can appear before Congress if he wants a public voice; should he do that, & be able to justify his actions, then I wouldn't have a problem with ABC employing him. Until then, however, I will consider ABC's news division irrepairably corrupted since you have chosen a possible traitor as a credible political voice on This Week.

I'm probably on some black list of theirs for voicing my opinion on other issues. I think I'll try my local affiliate, see if that goes through.

Please add that you are contacting the sponsors of the show and telling them that your family, organization, church members, etc. will not be buying their products until the criminal, Karl rove, is removed from ABC's This Week.

We really need to organize on this. I never watch the show, but I see clips on YouTube. Who are some of the sponsors that we can boycott...we really should just pick one and hit them HARD.

I would say boycotting Disney would be a good start.

I just wrote and told them so, but that I am now carrying that a step further since they're featuring treasonous criminals like Karl Rove on shows like This Week. I told them I'd be writing the sponsors of This Week to register my intent to boycott them as well.

I ended my rant to ABC this way: "With any justice, Rove would be on trial for treason along with Bush, Cheney and the network broadcasters who enabled them to commit crimes against our nation."

ABC takes notice, and it reinforces its decision to put him on TV because of the curiosity factor. What outrageous thing is he potentially going to say.

I think it's wise to pick your battles. Over-complaining can backfire because executives can't distinguish what's truly pissing people off the most to potentially boycott, etc.

Instead, they just say, oh it's those people complaining again ... they complain about everything when it's not all candy and roses pro-Democrat...there's no pleasing them so there's no need to take them serious.

I personally like listening to the enemy, so I know what assholes like Rove are thinking. It helps with our side's strategery.

Why do you have a criminal who constantly interrupts other panelists on This Week?

If you MUST have Mr. Rove on the show, the least you could do is ask him why he has lawyered up to repeatedly stiff-arm investigations into his crimes, or why he' defied Congressional subpoenas five-times-over, why he is currently in contempt of Congress, and why he brazenly acts as if none of this is even happening.
