This is what I think I just saw. McCain came on tv and gave another
angry speech about earmarks and wasteful spending and said to the president that "this is not change." Maybe an hour later, President Obama showed up at McCain's place (the Capital?), and schooled him in front of the world. I think President Obama and some of his guys were watching McCain on tv, and the president said'"Let's drive on over there and say hi to John." So, they drove over, and the President walked over to a startled McCain and said, "John, let's go talk to America real quick." A confused but possibly war McCain followed the president to the cameras, and listened to the president completely disarm all the rhetoric. The president simply explained that he is targetting the wasteful spending on things like unusable weapons systems. He even thanked McCain for his leadership on the wasteful spending issue, and that he looked forward to helping him. A befuddled McCain then gave a weak little wave as the president led him out of the room. We finally have a grown up in the white house.

5. Yes, a grown up who also knows he is the BOSS...
I love the fact that, for all the blathering and posturing and running off at the mouth, Obama is the one in CHARGE, and he knows it.

He let them get away woith their little CPAC conference, let the news gnaw on the bones of the contention between RW radio freepertude, and party control...let them writhe in their own ineptitude for long enough to show all their crazyness to the public.

And, when he has had enough. When McCain gets his balls back and starts his shit up too, Obama calmly and courteously, like a gentleman that he IS, comes out of his office and tells the people what he is talking about - what the TRUTH is. (heh, shades of him talking to Lieberman on the Senate floor and the look of horror on his face. He wasn't threatening him, he was speaking the TRUTH - and to them, it's like sunlight on the Vampire!!)

and they look like the fools they are, all of them.
God I love that man!
:loveya: :woohoo:

8. We dodged a bullet with McCain losing, he is an angry, erratic man who should never be president.
