"First they ignore you...
"First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."

I feel like America is winning, and the neocons are losing.

This is the best feeling I've had in 6 long years.

My country is beautiful!

1. I think we've got one foot planted firmly in Phase 3...
..and with the other, we're stepping into Phase 4.

It was a long, long journey through Phases 1 and 2. I feel filled with gratitude toward all those who persevered and pressed on through the darkness. You know who you are.

2. The GOP misunderestimated the power of the internets. From that one, sad
basement "discussion," remember, it couldn't be called a hearing, we cracked the shell enough to get a majority and now, in 3 short months, we've knocked over the abominable snowman.

It's a failed administration, and a failed attempt to turn the greatest democracy in the world into a multi-national private corporation.

Thanks for the recs, btw. We need to celebrate today.

Here's to more hope than I've felt in 15 years...

4. I'm 50% a 13th generational american.
My blood has been on a slow boil for 6 years.

The truth will prevail despite this ungodfull wave of distortion.

"We are creating with spirit that truth and justice and fairness will be revealed and exposed over time."

Have a nice evening.

5. I agree
That's a great quote and it certainly seems applicable to where we are right now.

6. Great quote, jazzjunkysue!
I feel the same way. I do feel that we need to remain vigilant, though, as I don't feel that the last two elections were honest. Yet another reason to keep the internet open, it has been an invaluable tool.

7. Thanks. The elections were most definitely rigged. We do need to
keep on keeping on.

But it's time to come down from the red alert. America is back, and it's pissed.

Amen.
