Don't they realize that Michael Steele was a plant? We set him up years ago to run just south of the Mason-Dixon line as a Republican. He couldn't lose, either he'd win and act as our mole, or he'd lose and the Republicans would regard him as an example of what happens when a black man attempts to act like a RWer without being purely insane (e.g.: Alan Keys).

So here he is, a loser promoted to the highest level of the Republican Party, the only black man in the room as it were, and he's not only infiltrated and commandeered, he's bringing it even further into the land of irrelevancy. Keep it up Mike, you're almost there!!!!

Those of us in the DC, MD, and VA area knew, and that's why we leftwingers were so entranced when Steele was anointed as head of the RNC. It was such an obviously craven attempt at showing how "open-minded" the Republicans are, but they had no idea what a piece of work he is.

This is just beautiful. I am loving every minute of it. Of course, there are those who are claiming that this Rush thing is a deliberate plan by people inside the White House (they don't have anything better to do, you know), but if you knew about Mike Steele, you know he was gonna stir it up in the goofiest possible way. Rush bit, the CPAC speech could not have been better timed, and the rest, well, let's just say my Netflix account isn't gonna get much use in the next few weeks......................
