I wish Barbara Bush a speedy recovery
Edited on Thu Mar-05-09 07:26 AM by cali
She's not a person I feel any affinity for. I despised her comments during Katrina, but regardless of my dilike and disdain for her positions, I wish her no ill whatsoever.

Amd yeah, I realize that I may well be in a minority here with this sentiment.

1. I don't wish her ill, but I also can't bring myself to wish her well, either.
But really, this whole heart thing is working out very well for her.

2. I agree - you gotta admire her loyalty and dedication toward her family
<no matter how misguided and ineffective>

You never want to hear bad things about your children. Can't blame her for her defense of junior.

9. I don't think it really matters
whether we wish her good or ill will. It's irrelevant. We know she will receive the finest medical care money can buy. We also know by her own statements that she's an incredibly callous, rude and nasty woman, incapable of real empathy or compassion.

We also know that her son is a sociopath, responsible for the deaths of thousands. I suppose I have as much compassion for her as I do for any other mass murderer's mother, that too when she really isn't a particularly decent person in their own right.

As much as those that want to 'display' how empathetic they are for even their enemies she is someone that has supported the deaths of innocent people and ignored the deaths of our American soldiers. Now she is possibly facing the time that her life could be fading away. God forbide we ignore her death in our 'beautiful' minds.

11. I also wish her well.
I hold no love for the Bush Crime Family. I do owe a debt of gratitude for the care my grandson received at the Barbara Bush Children's Hospital when he was born.

So many here at DU are the mirror image of what they profess to despise but it takes all kinds to make the world go around.
