Rush Limbaugh DID protest the Vietnam War!
Edited on Tue Mar-27-07 10:32 PM by blueinindiana
He chose NOT to serve, fake medical issues aside.

That is his act of protest.

Al these fake patriots are cowards!

As a veteran (non combat) I say go F yourself!

1. How do you know?
I'd love to see something supporting your assertion.

5. So, you believe the pilonidal cyst
wasn't debilitating to the point where it disqualified him from service? You can't create a cyst like that. Far be it from me to either support or defend his record; I was wondering if there's any information out there which would support the idea that his "protest" was more than just cowardice. Or, maybe I should say fear, because you aren't a coward if you refuse to do something suicidal. Again, I freaking despise the man; just wondering.

6. He seems (and seemed) to be FOR the Vietnam War, AFAIC.
And I'm a diligent monitor of Rushmania.

He's a dedicated subscriber to the theory that Vietnam was "lost in the popular press".

Of course, he was wrong.

The loss of the Vietnam war didn't have ANY implications in America's freedom, any more that the loss in Iraq will have.

7. Since when is a medical exemption an act of protest?
Might as well claim that failing a math test is an act of protest against our educational system.

8. Yeah, he could have served as could lots and lots of other reptiles but the ....
yellow streak on their back would make a good target for the enemy. Rushies cyst was not debilitating and could have been fixed with minor surgery, so the coward or chickenhawk label fits him to a "T".

9. Does that make Plushie a commie lover?
Probably why Limbaugh didn't want to fight them in Vietnam.

He was really on their side!
