Dennis Miller
Wow that was painful to watch. Apparently he popped by Daily Show to inform me that some Democrats are kinda funny looking. What did he not notice any funny pictures of the last speaker of the house? So people in Congress are not all GQ models. Huh. Yes hard hitting right wing political humor is 6 minutes of solid Joan Rivers red carpet humor of Democrats in Congress. Hey Dennis you use to be somebody in the fake news business, now you can't even find a political topic worth a yuk.

5. As Tucker Carlson has proved
apparently talent is not important to keep landing jobs in the semi-news industry. These hacks fail over and over and there's always another CEO friend to come running to bail them out.

12. "Can I start a latté for you?"
With apologies to the talented baristas throughout the SF Bay Area.

Really, I wouldn't dare have that bugfuck fix a drink for me. He'd drop a phlegm-glob in it.

was 1989.

At least he's been consistent.

17. I think I caught a whiff of fear from Jon
As if Dennis was going off, and the producer would have to cut before a particularly ugly YouTube clip was born.

4. He was funny back when...
Oh, wait a minute. No, he wasn't.

He's a great example of "artificially funny by deliberate consensus." That is, lots of people thought that he should be funny, so we all laughed at his Weekend Update stuff and some of his standup bits, but no one ever really thought he was any funnier than, say, a soccerball to the groin.

Give it up, Dennis. All but one person in America knows that you suck, and guess who the "one" is...

6. I think Dennis is
not as cutting edge as he appeared on SNL. John went out tonight and managed to make a vote on funding for the Iraq war funny, the AG lying to America funny. Dennis went out and told a bunch of safe so and so is stupid looking jokes. Safe humor. That's why Dennis's shows fail. When push comes to shove he can't handle actual politics in a funny way. Good knows what he will talk about for 3 hrs on the air.

9. He looked like his next move was going to be self-immolation.
No, not the metaphoric version. As if he was going to take a bic and ignite that Grecian Formula-ed 'do and set the Aqua-Net off. God I hate him. Can't even feel sorry for the mo-fo. He's just disturbed.

10. Hey Jon! You suck up - not down
He was way too charitable to Miller. He needed to give him the Tucker treatment. It's what Miller deserved.

13. Watching Miller was painful
However, did anyone catch at the end -- the banter between Jon and Stephen? Stephen was clearly mocking Miller, looking up obscure references (that made no sense) on Google?

18. while we're on looks
That whole Junior college professor look is as dated as a Corey Feldman movie. Oh and it's a good thing you're on radio cause the gut was showing big time tonight.

19. ...used to attempt something similar to the comedic form Jon Stewart has mastered
It must gall Mr. Miller to see someone else excel at what was his only legitimate claim to fame, since seeing them side by side serves as a public reminder that he was a mediocre comic even then. Dennis lost his SNL gig decades ago, and now the only way he can ply his trade is by pandering to those with wits duller than his own, through his particularly clumsy neo-con rebirth.

20. The weird thing is...does he really still believe
in the administration's bullshit?

I don't really know the difference in what he actually believes in, and what he believes is a good career move.

This is my major problem with Miller. Since he's a political humorist, it relates.
