Send Dennis Miller's kids to fight in Iraq
I just listened to some of his radio show. He has draft age children that can fight in this war that he loves so much. The truth is he is hypocrite like all Republican talking heads.

2. I don't want any more kids to go to Iraq.

It's not their fault Daddy's a self-absorbed, suck-up court jester to tyrants.

3. You are exactly right.
Most of those who think this war is a wonderful thing have not put anything on the line for it. Welcome to DU.

4. I am still trying to figure out why Stewart had him on his show
The man is a total ass and he is the only one who thinks he is funny

9. I'm not even bothered by him being on the show
As much as I'm bothered by how Jon Stewart seemed to cower in Miller's presence. It was disgusting.

12. It seemed like sympathy
It almost seemed like Stewart was giving a freebie to a comic trying to get his career back. I guess Stewart saw an old friend who needed help desperately. I don't think Stewart takes his show as serious has we do. It was 10 minutes given to a friend, to sink or swim. Maybe a favor returned from the old days. I hope they are even now and this was the last time he is on. The audience seemed a little confused at first by Miller's 'energy'.

What did his kids do? Sins of the father, is that it?

14. I agree,
the hypocrisy of "make them send their children if they support the war" is troubling.

A drum beat to make parents who support the war, SEND their kids to Iraq makes some people seem callous to the life of the kid. The kids are not livestock to be used to make a political point, but the outrage that a war supporter won't SEND their kids to war...is.

7. Yeah but
both Stewart and Colbert SMACKED HIM during the Colbert transition.. Colbert was doing a Miller imitation, and then when he ran short of material was obviously consulting a Thesaurus, it was HILARIOUS :)

Did anyone else smell the whiff of desperation in Miller's interview with Stewart? He was going a mile a minute, like it was his last shot in the world to get a chance at ANY kind of audience crossover.. besides, from what I've heard this is his 4th right wing job, and it's in the New Orleans in Vegas, as someone said, it was a 3 star resort..

That's about right for him, maybe a big generous, a three star comedic no talent..

The guy was making me sick on Stewart's show, complete babbling moron, self indulgent, handing out Carbon Credits to Stewart, like he's a cool guy..

ASSHOLE. :)

10. Yea, he seemed nervous and laud. He wouldn't stop talking. Jon couldn't get
a word in and all Miller did was insult Dems. Robert is a gem and he still makes more sense than Miller.

13. I'd personally like to see the architects
of war and the talking heads championing it pick up an rucksack and patrol the streets of Ramadi.

Dennis call you local recruiting station!
