An African American candidate vs A woman candidate
A while back, I heard Chuck Todd on C-Span discussing the subject of which never-before presidential candidate, an African American male or a woman, would be the most successful.

He said that in states that would potentially vote democratic, there is evidence that the electorate historically supported African American candidates. There is also evidence, particularly in the midwest, that the electorate typically selects men over women. Thus, it was his opinion that the African American would be more successful.

Did anyone else hear him talk about this?
