The Bush Administration is overrun with officials suffering from amnesia ....

Have you ever seen so many Bush Administration Officials who have no recollection of events that they attended, and participated in?

The head of GSA is proposing that because she is embarrassed by her faulty memory, she should not be held accountable.

The arrogance of these officials, who are willing to take the oath and lie by saying they do not recall is astounding.

4. Funny you should mention that. We just had a discussion about

the qualifications to serve in this administration. One wonders. If you can't remember the important things, what good are you. I'm not talking about the "what I had for breakfast stuff", I mean the factual, part of your job stuff. I bet they remember where their paycheck comes from. Somehow this excuse does not seem to cut it. I suppose they feel that no-one can prove that you do remember.
Shades of Watergate. Anyone remember the phrase, "Not to my recollection" so well used at the hearings?

5. GSA's Doan is a real piece of work

She told the committee she doesn't remember because that was a bad day but then goes on to list everything else that happened that day. She remembers everything (probably down to what color shoes she wore), but says she has no recollection of telling everyone at GSA to help elect GOPers. Even the video of her telling everyone to help elect GOPers doesn't refresh her memory.

Good thing for them they probably forget that they lied to congress the second they leave the hearing room.

"Do you remember when you lied to us last month in the committee hearing?"

"No, I don't recall lying to you last month. In fact I don't even remember speaking at the hearing."

...she did not see emails sent to her, and did not hear statements made at the powerpoint presentation.

Does she have any sense left which still works? And licking Karl Rove's boots does not count as proof that she has a sense of taste and smell.
