1. Chuck Hagel's eloquence
blows me away. Almost makes me wish I were a one-issue voter. This former Nebraskan is very proud of his vote and Ben Nelson's yesterday on the amendment to the funding bill.

10. It's a step.
The requirement to keep Congress abreast of the "comprehensive strategy" in Iraq is the hangup for Bush - because we know he doesn't have one and would want to disregard Congress even if he did have one — if Congress holds his feet to the fire.
