WASHINGTON - President Bush accused congressional Democrats Wednesday of meddling in Iraq war policy and said setting a deadline for a pull-out of U.S. forces would have disastrous repercussions for both Iraq and America.

1. Conservatives support our troops
by keeping them in harm's way forever for no apparent reason.

Dems meddling could save thousands of lives but bush backers don't give a fuck about the troops because they would have to admit they have been wrong all along.

2. Does the President use a veto stamp?
If he misspells veto, does a bill still become law? I seem to recall Bush famously signed the wrong version of a bill and it still went into effect so I am not hopeful.

4. Nor, I guess, does his destroying the National Guard and taking 1/3 of their equipment
to Iraq. Most military officers say the military can only go on another year without irreversible damage.
