How long will that take to sink in with most people, do you think?

Let's see... we've had the Gulf of Tonkin, the Maine, the Iraq War parts I and II... how long before that whole 'fool me once' thing kicks in?

*sigh*

3. From Stars & Stripes
'No maritime border has been agreed upon by the two countries, Lockwood said. A crane that sank in the mouth of the Shatt al Arab River between Iran and Iraq is said to be partially in Iraqi water and partially in Iran’s water, said Royal Australian Navy Lt. Cmdr. Tish Van Stralen, CTF 158 legal officer.

A maritime border typically extends about 12 miles from a coastline’s low-water mark, she said, so “that’s what we go off.”

“We’re operating about as far north as you can go,” said Reiter, the USS Sirocco sailor, pointing to a black line that represents what the coalition considers to be the edge of the Iraq-Iran maritime border.'

These are the kind of events that cause larger wars.

4. They can go off on whatever they like... but use it to start an international incident?
That's just a leeeeetle transparent, IMO.

11. They can try.
Not like it costs the BFEE if it doesn't work.

13. Evil men will stop at nothing to gain more wealth and power.
So far nothing has stopped them, to not expect the BFEE to try something to start a new war is a little naive IMO. New wars are like new cola products. They just have to be 'released' at the right time. The BFEE got lucky with Iraq and can't figure out a way to attack Iran. Let us hope they never do.

Seriously, did we have wargames or not? Sounds like more than one Navy is playing mindgames.

14. Too true...
I think the wargames are cover for the buildup in military presence, myself, but I'm a bit on the paranoid side.

5. Of course, everyone here knew it was fake
We've all been around way too long not to expect crap like that.

I'll bet Rove used someother email server to send it to them.
