Sanford's Beach House for Sale for $3.5 Million
While Mark Sanford is relunctantly allowing the unemployed to collect an extra $25 per week, he's put his Sullivan's Island home on the market for $3.5 million.

The 6-bedroom, 5-home, 4474 square front home is described in sales materials as "...a great value for true oceanfront property."

Please check out the following to get an even better flavor about the property:

MEH!! This from the man who wants to divert 700m from the stimulus funds to pay down debt. It should be used for education. 7500 teachers will be out of jobs.

2. A more serious response, I do agree with your comment at the end.
(diverting $700 million from stimulus funds that should BE used for education...)

3. I'm hearing noises about a better and better chance of getting a Democrat in as governor of SC.
Sanford helps those odds every time he opens his pie-hole.

4. If the statewide Dem party can get its act together they might.
It is headed by an ineffective cabal who does God only knows what.

When Lindsey Graham ran in 2008, they didn't even try to field a decent candidate. Some fool who used to be a Rethug, then a Ron Paul supporter managed to get himself on the ballot as the Dem candidate. He got over 40% of the vote. They don't even act like they are trying. The lot of them should be left at Fort Sumter.

I think we will have to a coup to overthrow the Dem leaders first. I may start the "Progressive Palmetto Party." We will use the "Pimento" bug as a symbol for Sanford.
