Quadrel-shaped stone carving unearthed in E China

Photo taken on March 12, 2009 shows a newly-unearthed rectangular stone carvings with human faces on four sides, in Zoucheng, east China's Shandong Province. The quadrel-shaped stone carving, measuring 0.45 meters in height, 0.4 meters in length and 0.27 meters in width, bears the facial features believed to be the ancient nomadic tribe of the Huns inside this archaeological excavation dated back to the Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD)Photo credit: Xinhua/Lv Weifeng
